help my tattoo is peeling off?
4 weeks ago i got a celtic tribal knot on my inner forearm. they used and 8 round needle and tribal ink. it looked amazing for 4 days then started to peel off like a temp tattoo. the ink was too thick and recalled. 5 days ago i had i redone with asian black ink. it looked very good raised a little,slightly puffy. so we assumed that yes it was the ink. today i noticed that it is peeling again. all the color isnt coming out but it went from dark black to a light shade of grey. he also used an 8 round needle this time. i put a&d ointment on it for 4 days then went to lotion like i always have. i have 9 other tattoos and this has never happened. am i doing something wrong or was it the artist?
im very anal about cleanliness and safety the needles are opened in front of me as well as the new tubes. i got another tat the same day and its fine. also this guy has done some of my other tats with no problems. its not even red anymore so i dont think its infected
It might just be where it is at....do u have or other inner forearm done? what kind of ink have all of your other tattoos been done in? maybe you should try that kind of ink. u may want to get it checked by a doctor just to be safe that its not an infection too.
