how do I find out a ring size?
I'm considering getting my gf a claddagh ring for our 1 year next month. Problem: I don't know her ring size... how can I find out without her knowing? A lil awkward asking her parents, can't ask her, and she doesn't wear much jewelry to check her other stuff, not to mention I don't have much time to do that anyway....
also, any other ideas for a one year gift?
If you go to the jeweler, they will probably know a way. You could perhaps take a picture of her to them and they could maybe make an estimate as to her size. And if all else fails, just make a rough estimate yourself and if it doesn't fit, just return it and get an accurate size because it'll be much better for her to be surprised and see the ring when she's not expecting it than to take her in the first place to the jeweler when she's now expecting the ring.
