gold jewelry question?
I recently bought a 14k white gold rope chain from a local jewelery who has been in business for a long time. I noticed that the clasp did not match the coloring of the chain. I did the magnetic test and the Lobster clasp was magnetic but the chain was not. It is marked 14k but not marked on the clasp 14k on the link next to the Lobster clasp. Is it common for a real gold chain to have a fake clasp? I bought the chain knowing it was second hand because the guy i bought it from buys a lot of gold and sells some melts the rest.
He11 no! What happens if someone is allergic to fake gold?? Take that cheap crap back! He's just trying to make a buck off of someone, and hope they don't notice... that's not cool
