Sterling silver is a good choice in wedding jewelry?
I found a lot of sterling silver designs that I love, but I'm sure quality. Do not wear jewelry much, so I'm a novice at this. I want my engagement ring and wedding band to be of high quality and be the same jewelry that I die in a (dark, I know) ... sterling silver that being able to pull this off? I heard that the ring oxygen darkens over time, but can be polished to a shine again ..... is that correct? And he does just to polish clean the ring or is doing away with a cape? I do not want to have less of the ring over time, that is my concern with white gold. Anything else you would consider? Pros / Cons? I only like white metal, and I love the idea of platinum, but is priced a bit high. And palladium could be a great alternative, but I'm having trouble finding palladium settings I like, do not seem to be much else out there. Really appreciate any help with any of the foregoing.
The oxygen is quite true. Darken more than a few weeks but if you polish your shirt yet to keep bright. owo I have a ring my grandfather made for me a sterling silver spoon. xD He cut the spoon so it was only the handle and folded around a pole with a rubber mallet. I washed it once and was immediately boredom. He was brilliant and as new in a matter of seconds. So, yes. You should try silver.
