Seek Out Fun Around Samui
Just close your eyes and imagine yourself lying under a hot sun with the sand warming your tanned body and the sound of the ocean lapping away at your feet. Maybe it's time you stopped dreaming and instead go out and book yourself a holiday to a tropical isle such as Koh Samui – this is one sultry destination that has people arriving from all over the world to check out its beauty and natural landscape.
The attraction of this exotic island is that you can have the best of everything, the combination of the tranquility and solitude of a deserted beach at Mae Nam or Bophut with the busy fun-filled areas of Chaweng and Lamai are the perfect mix. Whether you are a backpacker on a shoe-string budget or staying in the most expensive hotel on the island the locals will give you a warm welcome to their island and you're guaranteed to have a good time.
Samui has lots of attractions and sights to see but if you want to venture a little further one day then a particular trip you don't want to miss is to the famous Full Moon party on the nearby island of Koh Phangan. Although this is the main event each month, there is also a Black Moon party and a Half Moon Festival, these events are held at various locations around the island including Haad Rin so you need to check details beforehand – but what we are saying is there is a party most nights! It's a great experience for people of all ages so if you can you should try and get over there for a night of dancing and fun.
For such a small island, less than 170 km² compared to Samui which is about 247 km², it boasts one of the largest beach parties in the world with an estimated 10-20,000 people, more at New Years Eve, arriving each month seeking pleasure, drinking, dancing and non-stop excitement. It all takes place on Haad Rin Beach which is packed from one end of the beach to the other with bars and clubs all blasting out a variety of music styles from reggae and dub to house and rap.
International and Thai DJ's come to stir up the crowd and get everyone up dancing with Techno and Trance, Drum n Bass, Dub, Reggae and well-known hits. Party-goers paint themselves with ultra violet body paint, fit young Thai guys demonstrate their skills with flame torches, drunk dare devils attempt to leap through burning rings of fire with some unfortunate results and firework displays light up the sky in competition with the full moon.
You can either choose to book accommodation in Koh Phangan or stay for a few nights to really get the flavour of the place, or simply hop onto one of the ferries that leave daily from Big Buddha Pier (Bang Rak) and Maenam. You can also go by a speed-boat from the piers at Bo Phut or Maenam.
If you happen to be in Koh Samui around the middle of April then you might find yourself being soaked by water wherever you go! Songkran Festival is Thailand's biggest annual festival where the locals and tourists all join in the fun - it's a great demonstration of Thai friendliness and their fun-loving spirit. Traditionally, the villagers visited the temple then met in the street to anoint each other with water and talcum powder in celebration of the end of the dry season. However these days the streets are jam-packed with visitors and locals dancing in the sun –it's a lively carnival atmosphere. Water pistols, buckets and hose pipes are turned on everyone and most of the bars and restaurants have sound systems to add to the atmosphere of a huge party. Pick-ups tour the island with big water barrels on the back and watch out if you get in their way; chances are that those buckets are full of ice!
Today there are many hotels with international high class standards, many boutique resorts have first-class facilities including restaurants, spas, fitness rooms, jacuzzis and pools. Book Koh Samui hotels online for the lowest rates and best choice and you won't be disappointed.

HP Officejet J4680 Ink Cartridge show inconsistent.?
Our Officejet J4680 is complaining to us that the color ink cartridge in that tri- is compatible. This is obviously a lie, and it was working fine until yesterday. I tried to restart the printer, computer, remove and reinsert the cartridge but nothing. I left out of the printer so you only have black. It says 901, which even has the crescent symbol on it. It is a new cartridge and not really I have to be replaced so soon. What I can do to make the cartridge stop rejecting obviously right? Thanks in advance, Andretta
there may be problems only how to recognize the cartridge to treat these several ways: 1. clean the cartridge especially the part where the ink comes out (I recommend using a soft tissue) 2. if it does not try head cleaning 3. if not then replace the color because three is actually a refilled cartridge (refurbishment);
