getting a job at 14........?
hi.. i want to star working.. i have the working papers... but i dont know if there is a problem because i'm not a legal citizen here in U.S ... im from spain... i have been here in new york for 5 years... and my mom's friend ask me if i can work with her on saturdays and maybe sundays on her jewelry store.... but i;m a little afraid of no getting the permission because im not a legal citizen ... so do u think i can get the job while being an illegal citizen..??

You can't get a job legally. What's more, if someone hires you without checking to see that you're legally allowed to live and work in the US, that person can also be charged with a crime. If someone hires you knowing that you're not legally allowed to work in the US, then the crime is worse. Legal immigrants can apply for visas that allow them to work in the US, but they do have to be legal.
In addition, since you're 14, even if you were here legally and had a work visa, you'd have to get a work permit in most states, IF you're allowed to work at 14 at all. 14 and 15 year olds are severely limited in the types of jobs they are allowed to work, and also very limited in the hours they can work, both hours of the day (they usually can't work past a certain time) and how many hours they can work in a day and in a week.
