eternity ring or a gift for a birth?
Some friends told me I should buy an eternity ring or a gift for my boyfriend, when our first child born in July. I've never heard of this tradition, so would like some help with what I have to buy. I think I prefer to give a nice pendant or necklace ring instead. What would be a good gift for a 1st time mother? O is expected to / have to be a ring? Thanks.
In the U.S., many people call it a "push present", where the father gives his waiting wife / partner present at the time of birth.
