Stomach Burning and then Dark Stool.?
I know this sounds bad but I am a little worried. Two days ago I ate a piece of red velvet cake that was a couple days old and didnt know it till I ate it. A couple of hours later my stomach was burning really bad like it was on fire. Today it stopped burning but when I used the restroom my stool was dark almost black. Could it have been the food coloring in the cake or could I have had a little bit of food poisoning? Just looking for some help on what it might be. Thanks for any help
