natural vs. lab-created gemstone?
Should I purchase a natural gemstone/diamonds in sterling silver, or go for a lab-created one in 10k gold? Was shopping for a ruby but natural rubies are out of my price range and I would like something natural. Any reccomendations? Thanks.
it's personal preference, how can we recommend anything. Do you usually wear silver or gold? What matches with your other jewelry/skin tone/watch etc. Silver is a bit more casual, gold looks dressier. Once you have decided on the metal, go and have a look what's out there. Natural gemstones are more expensive and usually a bit lower in quality (clarity, color). Synthetics are 'perfect' in bright color, but they are synthetics. Personal preference, as I said before.

Mamianka! How a Grenadilla wood flute differ from a flute of silver and pearls of law in sound quality?
Also, it is sound flute is more enjoyable for you? I know wooden flutes (very expensive) are ideal for chamber music, combining well with other instruments. Would desirable in a concert of the band? What is the best for a string orchestra? I'm starting to "grow out" my intermediate flute. If any of these aimed at more experienced players? What brand is a good brand? I know the piper ultimately creates the sound, but I think a better quality flute 
i only help being played on a flute made of silver intermediate Rosetta, which is a good brand of flute. I apologize if I'm bothering me ask for your advice, it's just that you're so thoroughly with their responses and have experience.
If you do not stop using my name on the question, Do you want to start removing your questions - this is called "chat" and is against the rules. Nor is supportive of all experts flute others here, I am almost alone. Unless you have a specific need artistic wooden flute, then you need to stick with a silver. There are many questions and answers here passing to flutes - and you can always read the articles on the website of Jen Cluff. I'm not it - I live near New York, and she lives on Vancouver Island - more than 3,000 miles away - even though we talk on the lists of several flutists' all the time. You might want to go to Yahoo groups and join Flutenet. Someone else here resellers FluteAdvice-it's a waste of time, in my opinion - very few people now who are members, and do not see any wave of good flute players from other lists to join to that group. Flutenet will allow you to ask these specific questions and get answers a lot of intelligent and sometimes a couple of strange or dumb one, s also - But more than 3,000 FLUTISTS on that site as members, you will receive more specific advice. There are plenty of great flute for you a little less than two grand. Check out www.fluteworld.com. Currently I have students who play in DiZhao, Pearl, Trevor James, Emerson, Jupiter, DiMedici, and some children I'm trying to pass one of them. There are also some flutes at this price I do not like - you can read other recent questions I have answered flute, so you do not have to repeat. by far the best investment you can make, is in good lessons - the best teacher can, and be fair about their study.
