How Tibetan silver melt?
I would like to start making jewelry and I found some nice pieces of Tibetan tape to work. What method would be better and easier to melt the pieces?
Tibetan silver could be anything, especially that contains almost all the silver and could be anything from a copper alloy with an iron core plated with tin. It may contain lead or nickel (a metal a lot of people are allergic to). This requires practice and tools (a small propane torch, flux and silver solder). You may be able to use epoxy glue, especially if you paste several pieces in a single thin support material cut to size. The easiest way for you probably using jump rings to connect parts you do not need to be connected in a rigid / flexible. You may have to drill small holes for jump rings happen, I'm not sure that you want. I think you can also use leather, yarns, fabrics. It really depends on what you want make.Use a little imagination.
