How much can you trust display model TVs?
I've been shopping for new TVs online and had decided on a 55'' Philips one that had fantastic reviews, espeically about the picture quality with sports & games. I decided to see the TV in person before I bought it and went to Sam's Club.
All of the display models were showing a Top 10 reel of NFL plays that I see at every store. I saw the TV in question and it just looked bad. Watching the plays the runners were blurry and when a ball was thrown 3 blurred shots of the ball in the air showed up.
How much can you guage your decision on the in-store display models?
The TV is a 55'' Philips LCD-TV, 1080p, 240hz.
stores often play with the settings on the tv to make name brands look better , so you end up buying the more expensive tv cause it looks better than a cheaper one. i seen the tv in store you mention and the picture looks just as good as a samsung or sony, i suggest you find another store that has one to check and see if it`s the same as the other

how to display the computer monitor screen television?
I want to see some movies i play on my laptop, the TV I have to make the cable to connect them. I have an old computer with a cable that connects the unit to monitor. I have to plug in my lap top, but not TV. what els that I can use to connect the two?
VGA cable (the one with the blue end) it all depends on what connections the laptop has TV f together if they both have HDMI ports and then use that information on both laptop and TV are needed to help more thanks Fluzo
